Chaz Privette

I, Chaz Privette, was born in Denton, Texas, in the middle of the summer of the year of two thousand and three. When I was about a year old my family moved to Columbia, Tennessee. Here, starting around the age of five, I began learning folk and country music on guitar, being taught by my father. When I was about nine years of age, we moved to a small, old town by the name of Linden, Tennessee. Then around the age of twelve I began teaching myself classical guitar; of which I found later I had made many mistakes, but did develop a passion for the instrument. That year I began composing for enjoyment and leisure and still compose to this day. I joyfully lead a church in worship every Sunday, in which you may find many of my arrangements intended for. I now have (and have had for more than a year) an amazing guitar instructor who is the dean of guitar at Austin Peay State University, and who was gladly willing to help me reach my goals as a classical guitarist.
